Newspaper Design

For this project, we designed a unique village newspaper for Gentbrugge, bringing the identity of the community to life in a playful and visually engaging way. At the heart of the newspaper is the humorous, entirely fictional story of “de groene marginale zakken”—a quirky and imaginative interpretation of the local vibe and culture.

Featuring colorful illustrations, original characters, and a fresh graphic style, the newspaper blends humor and creativity with informative elements, such as a map and familiar landmarks. This project highlights my ability to combine storytelling and graphic design to create a distinctive, entertaining, and locally resonant concept.
